Not sure what conversion you looked at but never been told by any Italian stores anything other than 54=44 and 52=42 and got over 100 Itlaian garments.

At end of day who cares if it does not fit the same as another garment in same size for example a pair of jeans, I don't want people online ordering Kiton and Borelli shirts and popping up with them all over, exclusivity of the product is important, if people don't live near cities that stock the product then visit and buy it and try it on. Once you have bought many rpoducts form the different brands you learn what ize you need for each range plus cut that they do it becomes very easy.
