Yes the quality of jap denim is superior but only from a durability front and quite honestly when i'm dressing up to go out i don't need ultra tough jeans.

As for the party thing: you're a totally different build to me and hence we'd attract differrent women anyway. Plus I doubt any woman judge a guy on his jeans. Likewise I think the girl would prefer a guy with more wedge in his pocket to get her a drink too, than a guy being near skint after shelling out on a pair of saggy-arse Canes.

WE have different tastes too. I remember that white Money hood you bought- well I wouldn't be seen dead in any urban inspired wear like that. Either way, your argument is weak and Japanese denim is alot of hype and misinformation.

THe different fit issue would vary anyway as I'm stocky you're skinny, so one brand mght fit you well, and fit me shite, and vice versa. And btw I like Evisu's but they aren't up to all the hype, lets be honest.
Pringle, on this occassion you seem to have totally ignored a few points that people have made. To expand on what ikkyu said, I wander if you read my post on another thread to go and look at pics on super-talk to see people's raw indigo jeans and how they have faded over a year or two or even six months of wear, if you had done this you would see they are totally unique compared to a ready washed and distressed and faded pair of jeans or even just plain pre washed jeans, the raw indigo product develops creases and fades in a totally unique way to you and it looks the absolute business. To make this statement that quality of japnese denim is only superior from a durability point, well its just bollocks, how many brands ahve you actually had in the hand and tried on? UNtil you have worn some samurais, studio d'artisans, eternal, evisu heritage, sugar canes then it's not fair to have a dig at them. Yes some are best worn in the shower for first shrinkage and you need to be aware of how much they will shrink but lots of advice is offered and if these are the lengths you must go to to get a superb look then nevermind, if you don't want it then fair enough but no need to slag the jeans off.

You say that he is skinny and you stocky, if that's the case I can't see you fitting D and G jeans as they come up very slim fitting, they offer very few loose fits like Armani whereas the Japanese brands have a huge variety of cuts and they do offer bootcut to(which I am not a fan of at all with smart shoes). Comments about women prefering someone who has cash to buy thema drink, it's just childish we live in a society where there are 22 year olds earning in excess of a quarer of a million a year in some quarters and some 30 uear olds on 15k a year so you can't assume someone spends all their money on clothing because they spend 300 a pair of jeans, it's just ridiculous.

You know well that I am one of the biggest fans of Itlaian clothing god has produced and I defend it to the death but with jeans the Japanese brands do offer something very special indeed, I have a mixture, frmo Iceberg to Evisu to ROberto Cavalli jeans that are over 300 pounds and I love my Italian jeans they are lovely for smart wear but I love my Japanese jeans as well and they impress me mor overall. I have several pairs of Evisu, some for wearing with only t shirts, some for polo shirts some for shirt and suit jacket or overcoat, many cuts are available, denim is fantastic, they certainly live up to the Ialian product and as for Armani jeans and Boss jeans, incomparable they are in the same category for me as Ralph Lauren and Hillfigger, that stuff which I don't care for at all.
