the US does have PIMA cotton which is good but due to the high level of farming the soil is not organic.

and Sorry to do this, but Sugarcane is not the 'original' organic brand skull did it way before sugarcane, even Evis did it before them but then it was not sure a 'thing' to be organic, there is a long history of organic cottons and processes in Japan, most of the older generation have always worked with natural fabric and processes, most of the more traditional seafood restaurants have a blue flag or door curtain made of 'natural' indigo and cotton to show their business, if you lucky enough to travel to the north or south of Japan you see people feeling the cloth to see the quality of the store....

Natural fabric and the ideals of Japanese life are closely knitted together...

Sugercane, Evis, Skull, Kato'...etc we've all looked to the history to produce good cloths and garments
