Haha, i feel you too are being a bit cynical, University is not the only option - or something which should be seen as ABSOLUTELY necessary if you can get there...because the truth of the matter is the vast majority of people can do so.
Yes i could go to another university, i was merely expressing that it is a choice..whether to take the 30k hit and expect it to pay off..or take another route.
I would probably seek a career in sales or marketing as i have a certain natural affinity for it.
I never denied the statement's elitism.
It is a decisionn based on pecuinary interest... is my degree worth its cost? or would i be better off takign a different route. My opinion is that it is a tough decision when the degree is not especially impressive.
