Hi

Not all 'fashion' brands sell they soul to the devil, there are a growing number of small producers who have kept true to there hearts, trouble is they stay small and not a lot of support, none of them have the budget to open the press to there wears and get the coverage they should have. fashion press and media is not going after them as they don't pay for the adverts which pay for the print.

Even on sites like this where you guys are the customers and you know the deal, but still buy the bigger brands.....not knocking the brands or you guys, but it's a bit crazy, it more power of the shopper now that ever now, with hard markets and great site like this opening the information to all, but still g-star and friends take the money out of your pockets to pay for the misinformation that's spun to make us think they care when we all know they don't. it's a circle jerk

I've read so much and seen so much of this it's just a bit too much now, ever season I see new brands and old niche product trying so hard to make it and then see the bigger companies eat there designs and suck up all the money, I was in Paris for the shows, went to meet a good friend of mine (he posts on here) and he new collection, I was late, as I got to the show we had to go back in to see to some thing on his stand and we caught a guy from a large British brand taking picture of his products to re-make them for themselves, he pull the guy out of the show, got in a fight with him and has been baned from the show, yet the bigger company is staying, better money for the show and screw over the little guy, it's a shitty business. my friend has worked for years in the small denim business, passionate and honest lost his whole collection to this other company and has no place to show in Paris next season!!! yet the most upsetting thing for me is, the small guys like him are all painted with the same colour as the big guys, get treated the same way and to a point worse because there small.... yet they're the one who are trying to bring new ideas to the business and fight to maintain the quality of there goods..

'passion not profit' as he says

sorry ranting again
