I guess only a real levis nut would know these jeans so well they could spot a fake, look OK overall to me, my only concern is the letter " e " on the red Levis tab, kinda looks odd to me, like the hole in the letter is more like a dot and offset to the left slightly instead of dead centre and larger, I would expect it to be better defined than that from a brand like Levis.

Interestingly enough how do they compare overall to the pair you bought from the Levis store? I mean what is it about this particular pair that makes you suspicious of them being fake?
My red tab is probably the same on my 501's, sadly they are buried deep in a cupboard so I cant check if mine looks any different.

What bugs me that literally every pair of levis that I have has a totally different label on the inside of the jeans

And all of them are store bought, but some are bootcut, some are 512, some 506 and all of them have different labels.

Probably done by Levis to confuse the fakers LOL Mind you having no set standard does make it almost impossible for buyers to tell if they are fake or not too!
