Default how do I know if a prada bag is fake

I just got home from NY and someone sold me a prada bag for alot less than what i bought it for...what are signs that the bag is fake???

you should make sure that the logo does not looks painted, or that the brand is not spelled wrong, also that it has some kind of signature inside.

answer the following questions:

1) is the bag new or secondhand?
2) why was the person selling the bag?
3) did the seller provide a purchase receipt?

these are good starting points.

The store told you it was real? Must be genuine then. Can you post close up pics, maybe somebody here will know straight away if they see good detailed pictures.

I think the best way to answer this question is 'what area of NY was it?'

If it was Chinatown or you had to go through a secret door then it is fake.
