contacting brands

recently i contact a few brands to try to authenticate some gear. i noticed that most seem reticent to provide meaningful advice. i'll post up the replies later.

Very curious, perhaps they are worried that you are seeking detailed info so that you can produce fakes maybe? Still, you would think they would actively encourage potential buyers to shop in anybody they suspect of selling fakes. I mean if you are not sure how can you do anything about it, and would the companies be happy to refund you your lost money if you did inadvertantly purchase a fake unknowingly because you simply didnt know what to look for?

and most fashion brands arent really into communication. dont forget that its a clothing brand that probably doesnt really have an internet customer service
