Not heard Engel. Do they play the usual Gothenburg sound ie melodic DM, would you say? I'd pretty much put money on it lol.

Of those listed I like; Hatebreed, CC, CoC. You should try Vision Of Disorder, old Fear Factory and Old Machine Head. I hate (norwegian) black metal.

Opeth are amazing as are Cynic if you'e ever heard them? Nile are v brutal, might be ott for you if you only go as far as The Haunted. Btw do you like Susperia, Thursday, Melechesh, Stampin' Ground, Zyklon, Raging Speedhorn, Bolt Thrower, Gilla Bruja, One Dice etc?

kind of a dfferent line up going there...Stamping Ground Ok, Raging Speedhorn to pop-ish,Bolt Thrower haven't heard for years, got an album years ago as I can rember not very good, Susperia not so good, bought an album 2 years ago didn't like it and haven't bothered since, Zyklon some traxx alright but overall to Norwegian sounding(yes I know they're from there) the other ones don't know more then to the name, well most of them....

kind of nice to know that I'm not the only vain and fashion conscious
metaller here and outthere....it's not all about black over-sized-band-t-shirts after all.

Opeth for sure! I like most from country to death metal really, except for nu- and -core. I also like darkwave, new age, some symphonic and soundtrack if i can shred over it with guitar, SNES age video game music (also any age of Zelda), 80s goth...
