Default UFC + Mixed Martial Arts

what do you all think of the UFC and mixed martial arts? is it mindless blood letting for the clinically insane or a legitimate sport? and what do you think of brands like Affliction building their name on the sport? i read that mixed martial arts is a more popular spectator sport now than boxing.

Affliction is inextricably linked into the MMA culture. I find the whole thing mindless.

I've seen muay thai fighters against boxers and kick boxers. WAs amusing really. THe boxer kept falling over every five seconds as the muay thai guy just kept sweeping his legs then going for his face. Also seen cocky kickboxers knocked out in two minutes by muay thai guys.
