I think that'd be a matter of opinion. I think Macs look like cheap kids toys that are trying too hard to look futuristic.

One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't...

What other expensive electrical products have you purchased abroad Colm?

I have bought a laptop and an ipod in America before. My dad has bought a digital camera there. I am spending the summer there and I know I could get someone there to sort out any problem, in the unlikely even that something serious went wrong. In relation to the laptop itself, I have been looking at an iMac, probably going to cost over $1000. With the strength of the euro at the moment a thousand is approx 650euro. So I should be able to get more machine for my money there. I'll let you know if I buy!

Actually ended up buying a Macbook. I bought it when I was in CA. Very happy with it.
