if you could completely eliminate one musical genre from history which would you choose?

i would not hesitate to zap the new romantics genre of the early 80s. boy does that piss me off.

Any mainstream music. Sorry couldn't just base it on one genre. Though first to go would be that shitty one note trendy horseshit; RnB. RnB??!! Where's the Rythm and Blues? Rap and bullshit more like! No substance just all show and absolute tosh. You cant spell 'boring' without 'R' and 'B'!

A style of music which has now evolved into a style of Hip-Hop especially made for 13yr old girls who pretend that Usher is their boyfriend.

The so called RnB "stars" are probably not the talent behind the music, and the supposed stars are actually models.

RnB fans are usually teenage girls with the intelligence of a frog.
They treat anyone who doesn't listen as fools of society, when in reality, they are exactly what they make other people out to be.

the new romantics were great my aunt has loads of their records and i like to what them on the retro channels

Completely agree. I wish the music genre and especially the resulting culture could be eliminated.
