Default obama too white

here's a controversial or tongue-in-cheek question:

is obama too white to get elected?

what i mean is because he's neither black nor white does that mean he is unable to galvanish a base?

a silly question i know but it could stimulate some insights???

i see what you are saying. i have some afro-american friends who are very distrustful of obama because they see him as a white man trying to be a black man. personally i see obama as the answer to america's current problems.

because he is neither black nor white is the reason he has such wide appeal.

Did you read about Obama's campaign team banning two Muslim women from standing behind him at a campaign rally. The question is not is he too white but is he too Muslim?

If the American people do elect Obama then all the people whether Muslim, Black or whatever will need to reasses their understanding of America and it's people and they can no longer whine about America being controlled by the Illuminati and Jewish community.

you are so right. if obama is elected he will be the first ever mixed-race president in the free world. i want him to be elected to prove a point to other countries like iran who are so far away from this type of openess and freedom.

hmmm...don't think it depends on the simple thing such as the colour of the skin of the american president....
i am sure it is/will come down to the message, vision and the attitude that an american president is/will deliver, that will change anyones view on america.
people around the globe are not stupid or perhaps unintelligent just because they don't share the same opinions as others.
just because a muslim would get behind the steering wheel, it will not automatically solve anything.
Turkey eg(99% of population is muslim)? Or perhaps Indonesia(88%)? Both countries with a high population of muslims, have domestic problems as well as it's international enemies.

what is right in one culture doesn't necessarily mean right in another.
also how is obama going to make oil cheaper? that is fundamental what it seems in order for world peace....

i disagree. skin colour, gender, age, height and all these types of superficial things have a major impact on voting patterns. sad but true.
