I'm from Huddersfield way.

Got mainly a Levis collection atm, looking to buy some Kato and some Yoropiko (ok not strictly Japanese) jeans, also looking for any more denim in a similar style to Yoropiko although not having much luck at the moment, so I'm considering producing my own once I'm happy with my base knowledge.

Also looking at Ijin, but I want to find somewhere where I can have a look at them in person as I haven't seen what the quality is like.

I would check out Togged.com as they stock alot of the brands you mention. As for the Ijin, this seems to be one of the major problems in that people can't see them in person. You could order some & then send them back if you're not happy with them.

Do you like RMC (from the same designer as Yoropiko)?
You'd probably like Sugar Cane jeans aswell - might be worth checking them out!

Anyway - enjoy the forum & be sure to join in.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Yeh I like the RMC stuff, but I'm in love with those hungry dragon jeans. I would have them in blue if it were possible to find a set, and I imagine they're more expensive still.

I'll check out Sugar Cane, thanks.

The blue Hungry Dragons are nigh on impossible to buy now, pretty much all the sizes across all colours except the standard Multicolour Dragon is sold out across almost all sizes. They aint cheap either and you would have to purchase them directly from the Seleven gallery in Hong kong. But yeah agree with CD on this check out Togged, who carry many high quality Japanese Denim brands, there is bound to be something there to catch your eye
