itll be interesting to see how much they spend in jan. the premier league could become more hollywood than football.

As a Utd fan I'm hoping it will be good. It will give a bit more competition than the usual utd/chelsea/arsenal fight for 1st.
So good for the prem but bad for English football. They won't invest in the youth team and develop players. They will invest loads of cash and will want instant results meaning they need to buy superstars from abroad.

January will be the key point to see what they are about.

I've heard the aboo daboo (???) guy is worth quite a few Roman Abramovichs. Although they aren't sure if it is personal wealth or tied up in company assests. Can anyone shed any light? What ever that is rich (probably too rich!
