As I understand it, the authorities are looking for his "live in" physician who administered a morphine like substance daily to him, to help relieve pain. Its possible he gave him too big a dose and this caused the complications leading to the heart failure, although Micheals ill health has been documented for quite some time. Still it is a massive shock that he has passed away, I for one believe Micheal Jackson to be one of the greatest musical talents of our time, he will be missed but not forgotten.

He truly was one of the greatest talents of all time. His personal struggles aside he really had an impact on the the development of pop music. Don't stop til you get enough... Godspeed MJ...

I have to say I really disliked his music and personality. Could his excessive surgery had anything to do with his death?

As I understand it the painkillers he was taking were for injuries he sustained to his back ( a broken vertebre) which had been giving him problems ever since. Although I also concede that the extensive surgery he had been under over the years perhaps did nothing to help either. Gotta say I really loved his music, although his passing could have been a blessing in disguise because in all honesty I believe that had he gone ahead and done all the scheduled concerts he was committed to doing, the fans would have left very disappointed. Micheal simply wasnt the same man he was 15 years earlier, to have expected the old Micheal Jackson to appear on stage as we remember him would have been impossible. At least this way he left the world the way he would have wanted the fans to remember him.
