Default should fat be taxed like tabacco?

New study argues that a tax on fattening foods could help pay for health reform and curb obesity -- and lower health costs.

It would just be another excuse for the Government to make money under the cover of promoting healthy lifestyles. Like anything in this world, if you enjoy doing it do it as much as you can because the Government are bound to ban it to protect you from yourself. Anyway given how fat most politicians are they would never support such a tax!

i thing it's a positive move. anything that makes people think about their consumption, whether cigarettes, alchol, high-fat food is a move in the right direction imo.
