Aquascutum's new look

Aquascutum has got a new chairwomen - Kim Winsor, the woman behind Pringle's regeniration a few years back.

Aquascutum have been operating at a loss.

Winsor is going to launch a pre Christmas advertsiing campaign with 3 people in the running to front it : Kate Winslit, .

All this despite the fact Aquascutum have had rave reviews in all the fashion press about their collections the last couple of seasons.

Don't know - it did a little bit. Some chavs wanted a check not 'chavy' so went for Aquascutum. But it never got really chavy to notice!

the Aquascutum house Check is quite 'manly' compared to the Burberry HC.

I think she will be good for Aquascutum just as she was good at Pringle. she got the them back in people's mind as a decent brand. So hopefully this will happen at Aquascutum. The only thing is that I thought Aquascutum was popular already! Didn't realise the financial side of it was so bad! Perhaps I was the only one buying it. :oops:

that surprises me 2. i thought aquascutum was a stable brand financially.

Oh yeh the other people in the running to front the campaign are : (Kate Winslet) Daniel Craig [the new james bond] & Jude Law.

And the chairwoman's name is Kate Winsor NOT Kim Winsor. Oh & she has a £40 million budget to change Aquascutum's finances!!!!!
