SI Denims Sweater, parallel import?
I just got this SI Denims jumper of yoox and the spa tag appears to have been cut along the bottom just below the art number. Why do they cut that part off when really theres nothing to hide when it's the denims stuff. Does this mean that the jumper is a parallel import. Any of you got much SI/CP stuff with tags cut/alterted.

ANY LABEL SNIPPING IS A SIGN OF PARALLEL IMPORTING. THEY WANT TO HIDE THE SOURCE SO STONE ISLAND CAN'T TRACE IT BACK AND CANCEL THE OFFENDERS ACCOUNT. THERE'S NO OTHER REASON TO DO IT.

Or it could be a sign that it's faulty or past season? So they people can't take it to a store & claim a full price refund.
Pics would help.
Originally I assumed that Yoox purchased straight from the designers 'officially' - "we'll buy any old stock you can't sell".
But thinking about it - there is NO WAY on earth luxury brands and high end brands would ever sell to somewhere like Yoox! The said brands would most likely sell in their outlet stores (factory) or just dispose of it.
That's why in the past when I have purchased things - they have been a bit 'iffy' no tags/labels, boxes/packaging, seem like they aren't 1st quality......It's because Yoox can't gurantee it as they don't deal directly with the designers!

Just looked at them both. As far as I can see they both have the ART numbers intact. :?
The 2nd one (navy) has the ART number behind the button.
The 1st one (cream) has the ART number just below the button on the left.
Do you actual mean the ART number or the die-cut number (which is 604678 on the cream jacket) with the hologram sticker on the label?

No i meant the number right at the bottom of the tag, the shirt in the link as it and it reads something like 03-5350-4524? but the jacket doesn't have it. All my CP/SI gear as this number on the label except the jumper i purchased recently. I just wondered why this was, does it mean anything because the number is the same everytime so i can't understand why this is disgarded.

Oh yeh cj - see what you mean.
Just looked at mine & they all have it (Stone Island & SI Denims [inc accessories]).
Not 100% sure - but I think that me be to do with wear it's made.
All mine (Stone Island & Stone Island Denims) are made in Italy and have 35-5350-4524.
The cream jacket looks as though it's made in 'Rumania'.
Where are your's made? - are the numbers the same if made in the same country. Perhaps the newly made 'Rumania' stuff doesn't have it in.
Is the number actually cut off (line not straight - rough edges) or is it not on there (Stone island haven't put it on)?
Let me know cj.

All my items SI/CP/Denims are all made in Italy and the numbers are exactly the same on everything. This jumper is the only one not to have the numbers at the bottom, it's strange because it doesn't appear to have been cut either as the line isn't rough, it's as though Stone Island have not put it on.
I've looked at all my clobber and the numbers are the same on everything that's made in Italy, the number are slightly different to yours with mine being 03-5350-4524.

Dyslexic error - my numers are as you said.
So is your top in question made in Italy or elsewhere?
If elsewhere then those numbers must only be used on Italian made products.
