ralph lauren or lacoste

i love lacoste polo shirts and have 6....... but ive just orderd a ralph lauren...... my plan was to just buy lacoste polos, but if ralph lauren fits better i'll have to start collecting them!!!!! whats better???????????? ralph or rene!?

I prefer Ralph Lauren.

IMO Lacoste has more of a casual/sporty image, where as Ralph Lauren has a smarter image.

But obviously depends on how they are worn.

I don't wanna think how many Ralph Lauren polos I've got - must be 20, if not more! I'm like you bruce - just keep collecting them!

good man CD! problem with RL is the polo player is always a lame colour!!!!! i'd love a pink RL with a black polo player like what danny dyer wears in the film 'football factory' but you cant get 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!....... hence why i just wear lacoste as you know what colour the logo is!

In the US you can actually get customised polos - you choose the colour fabric & the colour of the pony. You can also get 3 initials put on it at the bottom corner. Or have the initals on the chest & pony in the corner.

Or that one (I'll have to watch the dvd again to see the colours) may be part of the 'pink pony' collection - where a % goes to charity.

for me i'm a ralph lauren guy....i every colorway they have, i adore their polos,especially the big pony, cause it has more flare and life than the lacoste polos

They do it as create your own - pale pink polo with black pony.

Ralph Lauren is more of a posh boys polo whereas Lacoste is more for normal people. I like the idea of looking richer and posher in Ralph Lauren but I do prefer Lacoste polo's but i wouldn't buy anything else form the Lacoste collection.
