Default Evisu Fraud Check- Their Response

Thank you for your interest in Evisu.com

I can understand your disappointment, but our fraud procedure is very strict and we won’t accept any fraudulent transaction. Other websites accept anything and many honest people get into nasty situations and many dodgy lads wear Evisu without spending a Pound. We think it’s unfair and simply want to make as sure as possible that the orders processed are genuine.

I am positive that our strong policy will be accepted and supported by our customers because we don’t do that to hassle them, but to make their purchases nice and safe!

Thank you for your co-operation

Kind regards
Nico

My guess is that your delivery address, that you gave to Evisu, is different compared to your billing address (the address that your credit card statements are sent to).

Is that the case??

An example is your address registered with your credit card company is your home, but you put your work address as the delivery address. Or you have jusy moved house & your details haven't been updated yet.

The whole point is that the credit card processing companies have various systems in place to protect sellers. They will be given warnings as to how risky the transaction is. There are about 4 different crytiaria to be met - if all 4 are met, the transaction is safe. If only 2/3 are met, the seller will decide to accept send the order. If 1 or none are met, the credit card processor will issue a warning advise against the transaction. Warnings only happen where details on file with a credit card company don't match those that a shoppper has typed in.

I would contact your bank/credit card company - I bet they will tell you NOT to send copies of your credit card. It is open to lots of problems!!!

The email doesn't sound too professional either!!!

You tried Togged.com - they sell alot of Evisu & are official stockists. If they don't have it in stock - I'm sure they could order it in for you.

Good luck & post up any more details.
