I think it is english owned. It is from the same company as Yo! Sushi - run by the entrepaneur Simon Woodrooffe, the guy who was on Dragons Den (BBC 2). Yo! is a whole company with different lines. It is similar to Virgin : Virgin Trains, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Atlantic etc or Eas : Easy Jet, Easy Car, Easy Cruise, Eeeeeeeasy....Eeeeeeeasy....Eeeeeeeasy....You shuuuuut uuuppp!!!! (Soccer AM fans?). Yo! has Yo! Sushi, Yo! Japan, Publishing Yo! and soon to be Yo!Tel (Not hotel but Yo!Tel). Hope this helps a bit.
