You need to go to a store: collette on 213 RUE SAINT-HONORE
it is regarded by many as maybe one of the coolest stores in europe
guess there isn't a brand around who do not want to feature in collette...

Also around an area called Le Marais; cool area with some good indie shops there

been there twice so not many times, also am very lost(geographically) when I'm there: but it is a very nice city,well worth visiting.
One way for you to do it is to maybe find cheapish flight to london
and then jump on the EUROSTAR train and you will be in Paris within 2,5 hours. London city centre to Paris city centre. Very convenient. Book in advance and play around with the dates or look for special offers: should be possible to find tix for £40-£80 return. Eurostar : Tickets, Bookings, Timetables, fares and offers
they do deals with hotels as well.

Best thing that ever happen there: went to a restaurant/club and as I walked in I couldn't believe my eyes: Zinedine Zidane was there!!!!
Got VERY starstruck if you wanna know.....
and no;I didn't approach him for autograph or anything;to scared!!!

I am going this Thursday, so thought I'd bump this. Any other recommendations? Thanks a lot for the ones already given, I'll try to get to some. I'm only spending two days in Paris, before going on to Switzerland.
