US citizen requires sponsoring.

Hi.
I know a lady in the USA, who wishes to further her education, in the area of designing, here in UK.
I am attempting to help out, but need alittle direction and helpful information please.
The ladies details are as follows:

Majoring in Fashion Design and Marketing.
Accepted to is American InterContinental University in London.
An outstanding person graduated with honors aand was in the top 25% of our class.
Want to do internships! Lots of things that can help with with sewing and learning to actually make clothes and restorations.
Good with knowing what looks good on people.

Would any kind of sponsorship be a tax benefit to the company/individual?
Can anyone advise of any companies/individuals to approach?
Any usefull advice/help would be greatly appreciated.
