Ah shit - that's got to be so annoying mate!
Similar thing happen the other day when I went to Stone Island 25 year anniversary.
Someone told me to check out the Hideout for BBC caps - I looked on the hideout website & saw it was near beak street (where I was going to the SI thing). Managed to stumble across it as it didn't have a sign on it or anything (suppose that's why it's called Hideout!!!

). Anyway walking back after the SI thing & saw the BAPE store was like 2 stores away from Hideout & I didn't see it!!!!
But yeah retailing in general (not just fashion) is so hard at the mo basically due to internet stores & large stores such as supermarkets who stock EVERYTHING!!
But's its us the consumers who are stupid for not shopping in the small independant stores - we will end up losing them! In my town centre we don't even have a dedicated music store anymore!! In the past 2-3 years we have had at least 5 music stores close (2 closed & then reopend as another company & have now closed again - our price, virgin/v-shop, mvc, music zone, andy's records, fopp...). Now we only have Woolworths & WH Smith!! I'm guilty as I started shopping in Tesco & online for music which would be £4 or so cheaper per album (I buy ALOT of music!).
Sorry for the 'rant'!
