London Restaurants

A few of us fashion fans here live in London or at least frequent the place, would be keen to hear people's favourite restaurants. I have a few that I like as follows:

Maroush(Beauchamp Place branch) nice for a weekend lunch while out shopping conveninently near Harrods

Royal China(St.John's Wood branch) was very reliable but had a bad meal recently, they are refitting though

Wong Kei Super quick and amusing occasionally being lumped with someone else on your table but food has gone back to being decent post fire that they had where it went downhill a bit.

La Caricatura(spelling mistake) lovely Italian place with proper wood burning oven for pizzas, do a £150 pizza if you feel like splashing out!

Oriental City(NW9) Foodcourt with lots of south east asian and east asian foods, very busy and noisy but great food.

Locanda Locatelli Relaxing and a nice meal quite quick tog et to as well.

Hard Rock Cafe for being a piggy

Good Earth(Mill Hill One) Really nice food and good service

Disappointments

Tamarind and Benares For a big fan of indian subcontinent food this was disappointment of century

Masala Zone Hyped and disappointing

I work in New Covent Garden, Nine Elms. Probably the best greasy spoon vendor there in the world. greasy and hot and change from a tenner! Just don't get the greasy down your Armani shirt like I have on more than 1 occasion!!!
