Japan Fashion Week
Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo, an event aimed at boosting Japan's presence on the world fashion stage, will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 9 with the support of The Yomiuri Shimbun.
The event, hosted by the Fashion Strategy Council, will be held in a pavilion in front of the memorial museum in Meiji Shrine Outer Gardens.
Highlights of the event will include the 2006 spring/summer collections, a textile design exhibition, a trade show and a symposium.
The Daily Yomiuri is giving away tickets to the following collections.
-- Yuki Torii on Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. (3 pairs of tickets)
-- Hiroko Koshino on Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (3 pairs for each show)
-- Yoichi Nagasawa and Kiyoko Koizumi on Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (10 pairs for each show)
-- Noboru Yamafuji on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. (3 pairs)
