Post Spotting fake Evisu, Red Monkey and Coogi

Anyone hints on how to spot fakes? I found some guides on Ebay, but that is it. There is one shop I have found in my area that sells these brands, maybe need to take one of you guys shopping with me. Any help would be appreciated.

Simple answer......buy from OFFICIAL STOCKISTS!
That way there can be no problems.
Check out Togged.com they have a fair bit of classic vintage Evisu and have the biggest selection of RMC & Yoropiko (although they don't always put it on the website).
Only go looking on ebay IF you know your stuff & can easily spot a fake. There are bargains to be found on ebay but it can be hard work going through th pages of fakes. It would be highly unlikely you are going to find real RMC on ebay (if you do it will be at full price) as its an 'underground' brand. Evisu can be found - but there are alot of fakes as it is a bigger mainstream brand.

My advise - pay full price & just go with the official stockists!

CD - Yeah hard to find offish ones tho. No offish stockists of Coogi in Australia (oddly/ironically enough). Not sure about the other 2.

I visited some family in Australia last year and I see many people wearing Coogi.

Few people have heard of it here. Most that do know their jumpers which are seen as tacky and worn by retirees and tourists (they are often sold at airports). I had no idea until last year they did denim and streetwear. That is why the first time I saw a pic of Biggie in a Coogi I nearly fell over. I guess that is part of the appeal for me- have something original.

Anyone who has guides on avoiding fakes that'd be great.

best way to avoid fakes is to buy from official outlets - period.

Are there any official facts about the estimated percentage of counterfeit items sold on eBay? Let's face it, eBay is a modern day "fence". I am surprised it hasn't been closed down to be honest.
