Can't believe thee jokers at Evisu they are quite unbelievable. After returning the jeans they sent the two raw pairs off to Italy which being No.1 Special not sure why Italy is involved, the store manager at Saville Row claimed they are made there and he wanted them tested to see how many times they have been washed, I had already told him they were washed once before cutting and I told the tailor to leave length as they woudl shorten futher which he aid they would. The manager at Evisu also claims that the jeans can not be washed many times as they will continue shrinking forever that you keep washng them and told me that the tailor is independent so technically it is not their problem, yet they have alwys referred to him as their tailor and not as the tailor at the back of the shop.
They have also, wait fo this one this is the best! Accused me of things even when they have asked me something and I've told them then they accuse me, for example wsahing the jeans many many times they claimed I told them, of course they can lsiten to the phone calls if they want. They claimed also clmain the tailor asked me several times to check the length, well not being a tailor of course he did not ask me to approve where he had pinned and as I have told them he did not ask me to try the jeans on he just handed me a bag with my jeans in and charged £60 for the work, interestingly he does not give receipts and does not write down for his own records the work he had done so it's basically 60 pounds cash in the pocket.
Just checked in the email they claim the shrinkage of the raw denim ones was caused by over-washing, temperature and detergent, now they were washe din cold water so this would be very very difficult! They also will not replace or pay for the Kenzo jeans that were over cut. This ha now gone on for 3 weeks and I am amazed at every step of the process just how terrible Evisu UK customer service is, it's quite unbelievable! It seems they accuse their customers of lying, acuse them of doing things they never did and basically treat me like rubbish, very short sighted for someone who has spent over 500 pounds on their products in one month alone, they really are turning into a joke and with all the Japanese alternatives on the amrket it's very very short sighted of them. Admittedly the manager said to me his hands are tied by management above as he thinks the cost of the jeans is not worth losing a customer but his email was very rude and dismissive once they had conducted thir 'investigation'.
Will keep forum updated as to what happens as this is turning into a comedy routine, not letting it drop though it has become a serious matter of principal for me, not having them take the piss.
