Default Lacoste

Has Lacoste got a bit staid or do you have the mindset of; 'If it aint broke, don't fix it,' regarding the brand. Or do you think they need to freshen up their image? Just interested really. Still rate the polo's and knits just wish they try something new.

In what sense, try something new? Always seen them has a style brand rather then following any trends or fads. Which is why im still very much a fan of Lacoste. I know what to expect when walkin into one of thier boutiques, casual yet sporty timeless designs.

I don't really know to be honest. Perhaps Lacoste cant really expand their boundaries as they are good at what they do and aren't really a fashion brand as such. THey just do stylish timeless designs as you say.

I mean they couldn't really do any tailored designs as they'd look ridiculouswith the croc on them, it's not their 'look'.

I agree! That's there thing & they should stick to it. As has been mentioned, there isn't 'really' much scope for Lacoste to expand. I suppose it could try to get away from the 'sporty' side of things and move more into the 'fashion' side - although I don't think it would work!
I'm particularly a fan of Lacoste - I prefer Ralph Lauren. Both very similar in what they do but RL has more of a 'fashion' & 'design' aspect - if you see what I mean?

RL is definitely more 'dressy' and fashionable than Lacoste, yeah. Lacoste always seems to look casual and sporty, it never kinda looks 'smart' as such.

Having said that, there is the new 'Stealth' line. Anyone know anything about it..?

Not sure about the "Stealth" line - I'll have to look into it. I was actually thinking about why Lacoste has seemed to be dormant recently not to long ago. On the other hand, they have done collaborations with Comme des Garcons and Alife Rivington Club, they seem to just be moving at their own pace.
