dumb5 we have to clarify loyalty and longevity because as adero says that is not clear.

imo g-star, trg, april77, z-brand, nike are not real designer brands. seven for all mankind is just a big brand confusing with seven and seven7 having the legal fights nobody knows what is what.

maybe we should say a brand needs to have shown at least 10 years of good sales and had a good customer base for this long too and is generally highly regarded as a top designer brand by the leading magazine. Maybe this is a good project for someone and they could do an official survey?

costume national, diesel, dsquared2 all have brand loyalty and have been around for years without direct designer association.

Sir Ted of Baker and Sir Teddy Smith are just crappy pretty boy brands imo, which is only one step up from the yo yo look.

Yeh - I didn't write to Ted Baker but he isn't real!!
It was at the time I found out Etienne Ozeki wasn't real aswell.
If it says 'xxx brand is in everyone' or similar it tends to mean there is no such person!!
Still can't believe Etienne Ozeki isn't real - !

what about all the japanese denim brands? they all demonstrate brand loyalty and longevity. brands like sugar cane, samurai, rmc, ironheart, warehouse, skull jeans, dry bones, studio d'artisan and others.
