oldest clothing brand?
was thinking: what would be the oldest and still existing clothing/fashion brand out there?
must be some italian or perhaps german family run shirt maker business or something doing it for somewhat 150 years....
just red about a menswear store in minnesota, usa, that have been trading for 130 years!
and was thinking: I wonder what they were selling when they first started...
unfortunately they don't specify in the article and no website either(tried to google it only came up with ph number and address...)
quite a mind blowing thought to step in there and buy whatever they were buying/selling at the time.
Silly!? perhaps but f*cking interesting!
Lyle and Scott 1874?

I just thought; Prada will be 100 years old in 2013. I wonder what they'll do to mark the occasion?
saxon rough riders was founded in 624AD in colchester, england by two tailors in the iceni clan called afred burley and stone fens. they specialiised in selvedge deer skin smocks and environmentally-friendly hemp belts.
maybe they were the inspiration for nudie or acne?
