Not comparing them, just saying they're cheaper and fit properly. I wouldn't care if Jap jeans came with platinum rivets and zips and were the finest denim on the planet. If they fit like shit, what's the point?

It's like buying a really smart well built car that handles and drives like shit- what's the point?

Also Red Ear are Paul Smith he is English just uses Japanese denim. Look at brands like Sugar Cane, Samurai, Studio D'Artisan, Eternale, Johnbull there are many more specilising in raw Japanese denims, then look at the superdenim forum on superfuture and check out the raw denim fades once peopel have worn them for year and had a couple fo washes, I think aftr doing those things you will change your vie wof Japanese jeans.

Maybes I need to go shopping with someone who can help me out. If i be truthful I like new cllothes but I hate the trying on part. I justlike to buy summat and get the hell out of there.

So if the jeans are 36" do they shrink to around 32"? Seeing as though I'm a similar build to you, could you recommend a style or product number of jean that will fit a stocky guy with short legs?

And, yes, I don't think much to Red EAr anyway. Had a mate who said he wished he'sd not bought his as when he tried on Evisu's they fitted much better- well so he says.

Anyone own Evisu deluxe stuff?

Oh and who of the big fashion brands eg Armani, Dior, Prada, D&G, Valentino etc makes the best jeans?

Iron heart is a motorcycle brand and that is where 21oz jeans came from, to offer some protection when riding a motorcycle but could be worn off the bike too.

i get it now. that makes good sense. a denim alternative to leather trousers. let's face it leather trousers look as gay as dale winton in a pink tutu so these jeans are a great answer.
