what do you all make of these ijin vs ninja jeans?





Ninja Tune have embarked on a brand new collaboration with top line jeans label Ijin Material. “Denim Innovator” Philip Goss does stuff with selvedge that’s far too technical and magical for us to be able to explain. It’s all to do, if we follow it correctly, with the quality of cloth, the dyeing process, the angles at which you cut it and where you put the seams. Suffice it to say that his jeans feel and look great when you put them on and then just keep getting better and better. The new “Ijin vs. Ninja” range features 2 separate washes with either an embroidered Ninja 'swarm of eyes' or 'eye mask' design on the back pocket. Most importantly of all, they have a cut and quality in keeping with the Ninja ethos (which can be summed up as “wear very nice jeans whenever possible”).

New t-shirts and sweat shirts will follow, but for now feast your eyes and, more importantly, legs, on some low slung stealth denim

when i first saw them i like them but the more i look the more i think they look gimmicky.
