Well something that isn't first quality & meets the quality/standards set by the manufacturer.

Not enough stitches per inch, misprinted graphics, dodgy seams etc. LOADS of things mean it could not pass the inspections. I think companies (well some at least) used to mark them some how - dyed label, cut label etc. Don't see this anymore.

Stuff I had from Yoox, off centre printed graphics, creased leather, pockets stitched up, off centre seams...

the problem is a definition of a second is so objective to almost be meaningless. which i guess was the point of tacifornia's rhetorical question? in an age when brands make distressed polo shirts how do you hoestly discern a second?

yoox are build on old seasons and samples, which i guess could be construed as seconds by some?

Ah ok!

I can GURANTEE that stuff I've had is SECONDS (or the brand's inspectors need to visit Specsavers.)!

Maybe UK can list some of the 'seconds' that he had.

It is not proper to sell substandards and not be telling.

Bottom line is Yoox is one big w*nkstain, they sell seconds even had it from the head of a brand's mouth you think you are getting something unique you're not seeing anyhere else but tis rubbish only ordered twice and has gone back for full refund both times, load of rubbish stick to the boutiques or shops for these clothes.

the one big thing going for yoox is their return's policy. i have order maybe 20 items from the site and probably returned a quarter with no problems. yoox has a lot of pluses imo. its important to understand what the site is though -- cheap old stock, samples and seconds at discounted prices. reminds me a bit of tk maxx online.

Returns is good Honcho but surely dodgy stock is not worth it.

I understand what honcho is saying and kind of agree. At the same time they do not advertise there stock is samples, seconds etc. At least in TK Maxx you can see it and they usually have a tag saying 'seconds' or 'past season' or 'current season' etc.

Yes Hugo - it's not good business!

I think you can still find decent stuff on Yoox but it's too hit and miss.

Returns are good in that they are prepaid.

dudes you're being 2 harsh on yoox. the quality, status and season of the product is reflected in the discounted price?
