is the success of cheap monday jeans down to marketing, quality or price?

don't think they ever had a huge marketing budget and the quality is debatable .
so imo the success is down to the price.
BUT add to that very skillful sales strategy's and the fact that they are offering a product that a lot of peeps seems wanted/wants.
They managed to feature in very prestigious stores, stores that normally wouldn't carry that low price level.
Well done!!!
Respect!

....at least that is my view on it.

a bit of each but mainly marketing in the sense of generating controversy on a budget. all the anti-establishment/anti-church satanic bs caught the imagination of the youth and that combined with cheaper prices ignited the brand to it's current high-profile status.

Is it the product style or the brand/marketing concept that makes your skin crawl?
