I think that patch has been around a fair while - I saw it a few seasons ago on some jeans (one pocket had 'DRY' embroidered on it). I think there was a BBB workermans pencil, in the special 'pencil pocket' on the left front pocket.

I know they usually have the "Lobster" logo on the patch. Not sure of the significance of the logo. The jeans look very clean.

Isn't it just because the lobster has 'blue blood'? That's what I thought anyway.

I haven't been in Selfridges for a long time so don't know it is still sold in there. Had a look on his site the other day - doesn't look like it had been updated in a while. Shame as I liked some of his stuff (my mate even got a t-shirt although he only wore it once - the fit when a bit strange after he washed it).
Maybe he's working on a new collection or something?

i think you should read cold blood when you read blue when it comes to the royals.

in the case of the crab;the pigment that carries oxygen around a horseshoe crabs body, hemolymph, contains copper.
On contact with air, this gives the blood a blue appearance.
In humans, the oxygen carrying pigment is haemoglobin, which contains iron giving the blood its deep red colour.

Apparently.........
