perhaps some of the mega-brands could get away with doing this at a sustainable level. it would be a major risk because every retailer on the planet would start trying to undermine the brand.

i buy some clothing online but i will always want the option to go instore to browse and try on different stuff.

The Internet is going to have a major impact on the whole fashion industry over the next decade. All the big brands are presently reassessing how they will conduct business moving into this new era. Any fashion retailer with half-a-brain will have an online store in anticipation for a shift in fashion buying patterns. It is going to be interesting to see how things evolve.
