Does this mean the clothes are going to get cheaper as no one is ordering from the designers and they have to make next seasons collection right away?

I would guess retailers are buying less stock and will try to squeeze every penny from what they have so we might see prices go up.

Hello,

this season ALL the shows were quite, mainly its the travel budgets that got cut, the agents are still selling, everyone is down a bit, but the only way to get out of a tough economic 'down turn' is by spending 'real' money not credit, the store still have to make sales to pay rents and wages and the brands still have to keep they cash flow, on the plus side it will make a LOT of people re-think there business, it's been more about safe design and product the last few seasons, we should start to see a bit more DESIGN trying to catch the money and the shoppers eye.....

remember it was the 1970's crash that brought us PUNK and the 1980's crash gave us GRUNGE.....who know whay wonders may come for this crash
