Default Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton

Foxfibre™
Produced in Texas, New Mexico. Planted on complete organic, at least 3 year so chemical fertilizer fee soil. Foxfibre™ doesn’t go through any industrial process from raw cotton to fiber. To be recognized as organic cotton, it has to pass strict state standard.

Difference between industrial cotton & organic cotton

Industrial cotton goes through many process of breach, removal of grease from raw cotton to fabric. Due to these process, all impurities and wax will be removed. The final product will be high calloused purity. Modern industrial jersey machine is made for industrial cotton which went through all process to uniform the yarn chemically.

Reason to use Organic Cotton with Organic Dye
Organic cotton has perfect match with Organic dye. Organic cotton bring out natural characteristic of organic dye with more rich and deep coloring at the most.

This particular machine was used popularly from 1870 to 1960. After that, the machine was replaced by modernized jersey machine which is used now. This machine's production was discontinued and no factory makes any parts or machine. Our mill is one of the few factories currently use this machine.

They posses of 200 machines. The machine production speed is about 1/30 comparing to modern jersey machine. The machine is made not to pull, no tension during production, when modern machine put a lot of tension during production because of their speed.

Moreover, modern machine rolls the fabric right after knitting, which will cause extra tension again. This machine doesn't roll fabric. It just let the fabric drop as gravity. Due to this "non-tension" production process, yarn will keep its softness and fullness in form of fabric. So, fabric will more bulky and keep its form for a long time of period, comparing to modern jersey machine. No need to mention, there are only few craftsmen to operate this machine since this machine require a lot of precise handwork as well as knowledge of machine.
