the lanvin scarf has a chain mail bottom. i like it but is it wearable?

I think I remember reading that Gianni Versace invented a chain-mail or was the first to use it in a show??

I dought it would keep you very warm, in fact the cold metal would be downright uncomfortable, however at least it wouldnt blow away in the wind.
