Default levi's denim jacket

this is advertsied as a levi's denim jacket. it looks like a denim shirt to me. question: when does a denim shirt become a denim jacket and vice versa?

I think its all about the shape/cut and weight of the denim that determines a shirt or Jacket. If looks like a Jacket then it is. The above is a shirt in my mind and pretty vile one at that.

i would say the weight of the denim and the cut at the bttom. jackets usually have some kind of substantial trim. the one above doesnt and thats why it looks like a shirt imo.

Also the buttons will reflect whether it's a shirt or a jacket, generally speaking.

The guy on the pic has the sort of look on his face like he is thinking " Please kill me now!" He doesnt look in the least bit comfortable. He knows what he is wearing is aweful. Still I think I found the inspiration for the design.................

the guy has a long neck which might be elegant but doesn't suit that jacket.
