Oh shit this is hard! I'm tempted to say Coogi so it would be trooooly Ostrayan. I also wouldn't mind Penguin- I'm an easy-going, quiet sort of guy so some big flash label is not really me; their neat, casual thing suits someone like me.

But I would have to go with Kangol.

I'd probably say Tommy Hilfiger - as it was probably the first 'designer' that got me into this whole 'designer clothing' stuff! Maybe not the best business move!

Realistically I'd say Yoropiko or Ijin for creative reasons.

Hello,

not saying, I saw what you guys did to that poor bastard from Kato.......

I'm here as a shopper not a seller!

well I say it was Neil's attitude rather than anything.
don't think he had any bad intentions only came across a bit wrong and pretentious and with a bad start.
think people just misread his posts.
and not everybody had a problem with it.
Neils new thing with asos looks cool.

Hello,

before I answer this I have to say I know Neil, I know him quite well.

now what I'm saying comes from how I see what happened and being lucky to have spent time with someone as passionate about his product as he is.

But a joke between two posters became a thing that got out of hand and he has been pilloried for it. that said in some places being honest enough to say who you are and where your from can be taken as 'pretentious' but that's not where he's from.

I learnt not to shout about my business and let the PR do that, it there job, Kato is a very small company and do not have that luxury. he came here to talk but was forced to defend....

but i guess that is why a few of you guys don't talk about what you do and who you work for, that's not his style, he has a passion for his work that is a little naive at times.

as for Asos.....not sure about that, even if it'll happen, not his type of company.

i thought neil benefitted immensely from publicising kato on kitmeout. i know uk2004 questioned his motives as he was entitled to. in the end it was a great thread with interesting and insightful debate.
