When RMC first came out I bought a pair (with the tsunami waves on the back). Have only worn them a few times. They are very loud, almost cras imo and the shape is very baggy and unfitted. Must say I dont really like them.

So anyway to answer the question, what is all the fuss about. Seems like a serious fad thing to me, similar to the bape hoodies recently or iceberg history and pattern moschino back in the day. Cool at the time but no lasting style which will eventually go out of fashion until finally 10 years later we will see this stuff in music videos and laugh...

rmc and red monkey are 2 different companies so i was told. rmc is a hong kong company by martin ksohoh and red monkey is a european company.

then there's red monkey designs who make the belts, caps and watch straps.

LOL I own that exact pair in the picture, had them about 6 months now!. Now then lets clear up some misunderstandings. RMC and Red Monkey Company are one and the same. The company was called "Red Monkey Company" but was changed to "RMC by Martin Ksohoh" because of a company in the US called Red Monkey designs who didnt like Martin Ksohoh using the name Red Monkey ( despite the fact that Red Monkey designs didnt make Jeans or anything remotely similar). So in order to sell his product in the US the name was changed to RMC ( which is still short for Red Monkey Company) In fact the company was always called RMC before all this happened because many of the older RMC designs dating back pre 2005 had just R.M.C. on the waistpatch anyway. The other RMC known as rangy Mountain Company are a copycat company who tried to steal Martin Ksohohs designs and sell them as genuine RMC in the US. they are all fake!!

the brand has had hardly any press so how can it be hyped up? it's about as underground as you can get.
