Default Problems selling Evisu on ebay

Hi

just wondering if anyone has problems selling their evisu on ebay?

nearly every time i put something up for sale that i no longer wear they flag it down and get it removed saying it is a fake.

This normally happens just after someone bids on it and has even happened when I have put photos of the receipt on ebay next to the pictures of the item I am selling!!!

its bloody annoying especially as all the item where brought in their flagship London store and when I email them to get it sorted they ignore my emails. ARGGGH!!!

I always write them a shitty email, maybe thats why they ignore me now.

I always put the items back up straight away and strangely they don't get removed a 2nd time.

Just want to say sort it out Evisu, not impressed at all!

and also: have you sacked all your decent designers? some of the stuff coming out recently is awful....................

you could...

give a good description of the jeans
post 4+ pictures showing quality and serial
possibly give "tagged" pictures with your username shown on paper

i know one of the guys at evisu. he told me they have a small team monitoring ebay and they can tell ebay to take down virtually any evisu product. this is part of ebay's attempt to clean up its act. you have to look at it from evisu's point of view. ebay is full of evisu fakes, not to mention all the other brands and they need to protect their brand and the public at large. the best way around it is to always keep your receipts so you can prove it's genuine.

my descriptions are fine lol and I always put lots of photos up.

if they did their job properly then they could look at my feedback and see that I have sold many evisu items before and have a 100% postive feedback record.

its just annoying I'm sure they do it to me just to piss me off hahaha.

There is certainly less fake Evisu on E Bay of late Ive noticed, so I guess they must be doing something right, shame the same cant be said of RMC but thats another story ( and 100% feedback means very little cos Ive seen powersellers selling fake gear too). Anyway, as always the onus will always be on the seller to prove their item is legit, so I guess the more information you provide with your sale then the less likely the chance of the auction being pulled, and also gaining more confidence from potential buyers. After all there must be loads of people who got a genuine bargain on E Bay simply because others were too afraid to bid because they were not happy the item being sold was genuine despite the fact that it was fine. Given the huge payout E bay has made to other fashion companies who have sued them for allowing fakes of their products to go on sale, I assume that E bay take no risks anymore. If a company feels the item is fake, E Bay pull it without question, and you can't really blame em.

yeah that is true, don't think they even have to tell ebay - think they can do it themselves. When I receive the email saying my auction has been taken down it always states that I have to take this matter up with Evisu or whoever.

The name of the scheme is called VERO i think, don't know what it stands for.

VeRO stands for Verified Rights Owner ( Programme), it allows rights owners to report infringements of intellectual Property rights to E bay, ie the sale of fake products using their logos etc.,

vuitton would need a team of a hundred people to monitor the fakes on ebay.
