I think they already are if what i've seen is anything to go by. Seen a couple of guys wearing them with the upper brace part just hanging down, effectively just wearing the lower trouser part usually with a casual but smart looking blazer and casual waistcoat. i must admit it looked kinda cool.

I'm sure they will haunt future generations as things do tend to come in, go out, and just when we least expect it they are back. Hopefully, if they do return they will be updated in a way that makes them somehow relevant to whatever else that maybe going on at the time. Its a long shot in my book.
