I paid £950 for a Zegna Soft Suit and to be honest the Hugo Boss ones for £450 are better, Boss are absolutely superb.

Brioni do suits off the peg though and they are miles ahead of any of the competition, but expect to pay £2000 and upwards for an off the peg one.

I would rather a 2 or 3k offr the peg Brioni suit than a bespoke one from antoehr brand. The fit on Brionis is outstanding especially if you are naturally quite broad shouldered and well built. You can always get a couple of alterations done as well. Hugo Boss are very nice as well. Kiton are good Italian suits, I think Canali and Zegna are massively overrated I regret getting my Zegna suit bigtime!

http://www.brioni.it/

I think they fetch the money they do because they are renowned for quality and great fit. Silvio Berlusconi wears, them, Gerhard SHroeder wears them, Shirac has some, many politicians and business people as well as Tom Cruise and other Hollywood actors are Brioni devotees, I've seen nothng like them they realyl are very special. They have a shop just off Berkeley Square in Mayfair and also have stock in Harrods.
