How long ago was that? I understood that Harvey Nicks won the right to sell RMC over Selfridges back when the brand was first introduced into the UK.

Here is a really old pair of RMC, probably amongst the first pairs made, looks pretty well worn although I suspect it was a prewashed model when released. Currently for sale on Yahoo Auctions thats if you are able to access it of course.

Yeah these are 100% genuine, you dont see many of this vintage come up for sale but this pair even come with the first edition style hinged box so my guess is this is very rare. If they had been my size I'd have most probably snapped them up.
