I see quite a bit of it in big Dept stores here. I kinda see it as clothing on the safe side. Nothing too exciting and decent enough quality, kinda in the same mold as Gant in the USA in my opinion.

Hackett is very much classed as "terrace wear" in the UK in that you see a lot of football fans wearing it. It is borderline chavvy in my opinion.

hackett (jeremy hackett) is a very good brand with a vast selection of different clothing ranges . their apparel and tops was at some point favored by the football fanatics (perhaps still are), whom some being into more than just watching the "beautiful game" , guess they find comfort in beating the cr*p out of each other.

anyway:
hackett is a life style brand, think they could almost be seen as a british equivalent of ralph lauren in my opinion.
and I know for a fact that is exactly how they are trying to profile themself
with a lot more on offer than just polo shirts.

I do not own anything by hackett, not my cup of tea.(saying that; it goes for ralph as well. do not even own a single polo shirt)
but a high quality brand with lots of their own retail stores around britain and I would assume in japan as well.
