Default Do you people value unique and handmade products?

Do you people value unique and handmade products? Well, I mean I use a huge amount of my money to unique products such like duffles and coats.

What people (in other countries, in Finland it is kept as a sign of the vanity) thinks about unique products? Goodies that can only be owned by a limited number of persons.

The label, brand or designer house doesn't mean a thing to me. I usually have done those uniques in not so well known labels or designer. Sometimes even by my grandmother (she is a wedding dress designer).

I think people do value unique / hand made products - but majority can not afford them.

Obviously there his that personal touch by someone hand making a product & you would assume that they take care of the product they are making.

But due to the fact fewer products can be made by hand compared to mass produced/machine manufactured products they have to charge more £££s for them to ensure they make money.

I would love to have all my clothes made to measure & hand crafted - but I didn't win the Euro Lottery jackpot - so will have to stay with my 'mass produced' designer clothes!

But I believe hand crafted/unqiue products should be made using the best possible raw materials. No good having hand made clothes from cheap crappy fabrics.

Material decission is a decisive part of the whole product. But I think they won't have to be the best possible quality since everything is not mentioned to be used forever. I love "wearing-only-a-day" products! Thus that is the reason why I order clothes from H&M, Benetton or Zara as well.
